Since 2011, Her Corner has been using templates and frameworks to teach women business owners how to grow their companies. We have been curating small groups of business owners for nearly a decade and our programs and frameworks have helped over 1,000 business owners grow their companies across multiple industries, disciplines, and geographies.

The frameworks and methodologies are constantly evolving and developing based on current economic trends and small business markets.

2020 Curriculum & Pricing

Since March 2020, Her Corner has completely updated and changed its content curriculum to help businesses assess, pivot, and reposition their businesses for growth.

Today’s curriculum and frameworks are brand new and developed based on current market conditions and hundreds of hours of practical research and discussions with small business owners.

Participation in a peer group starts at $225 per month.

You don't have to be present for all the Group sessions to maximize the benefit from this program - but we do recommend that you commit to at least ⅔ of all the meeting dates. You can view meeting dates HERE.

All sessions will be recorded so you can re-watch them at your convenience, but we know from experience that those who participate get the most out of their experience!

About Your Facilitators

Frédérique Irwin

Founder & CEO

Frédérique is the Founder and CEO of Her Corner. She has spoken on the topic of the state of women and entrepreneurship at The White House, The U.S. State Department, as well as companies such as Marriott, Chobani, Microsoft, AstraZeneca, TD Bank, and others. She has also taught entrepreneurship at the Kogod School of Business at American University and she holds an MBA from William & Mary and a BA from Davidson College.

Kimberly Berger

President & COO

Kimberly is the President and COO of Her Corner. She is an active angel investor with a passion for women-owned companies. She has worked with venture-backed companies and large publicly traded companies specifically in the areas of digital marketing and strategy consulting. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School with a focus in Marketing and Finance and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dia Martin


Dia is a Managing Director at OPIC where she provides financing to businesses in the emerging markets. She was a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow focused on development finance from 2007-08 and has held several positions at Citigroup, Moody’s Investors Service and J.P. Morgan. She has a passion for advising and financing businesses that are committed to social impact. Dia holds an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School.

Susan Apgood


Susan Matthews Apgood is Founder and Executive Vice President, Client Engagement at News Generation Inc., a media relations firm in Bethesda, MD. She is an adjunct professor in the Kogod School of Business at American University and member of the board of JUST TRYAN IT and Washington Women in Public Relations. She earned her MBA from American University and BA from George Washington University. Susan is a mentor and advocate for female entrepreneurs, having started News Generation in 1997, and sold to 4media group in May of 2020.

Galia Gichon


Galia Gichon is an independent personal financial expert with more than 20 years in financial services, including nearly 10 years on Wall Street and an MBA in Finance. She is an angel investor and has worked with Pipeline Angels, Astia, Topstone Angels and Refinery CT. She has been widely quoted in The New York Times, NBC, CNN, Real Simple and more.

Towanda R. Livingston


Towanda R. Livingston is a successful and award-winning Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Executive. She is the Chief Business Strategist at Livingston Worx, a company she founded in 2017 which delivers innovative and transformational Equity, Diversity and Inclusion solutions to the government, public and private sectors. She has served as the Senior Director of the Office of Economic Opportunity for the City of Philadelphia, the Director of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission’s (WSSC) Office of Supplier Diversity & Inclusion (OSDI) as well as other various progressive roles at PECO Energy/Exelon Corporation.
